Recently, an ESS project cooperatively developed by Yotai and Hangda ESS was successfully delivered and grid-integrated for the first batch at Dongguan Xuding Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.'s park. This marks another typical application of Yotai's 215kWh Smart Distributed ESS in an industrial park setting, further enriching the "ESS + X" strategic case studies.
It's known that the factory of Dongguan Xuding Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. spans over 2000 square meters. The company, a supplier to several globally renowned enterprises, mainly deals in TFT and OLED display products and has a substantial volume of import and export business. As a typical high-energy-consuming manufacturing enterprise, it experiences high electricity usage during peak hours and incurs substantial monthly electricity costs, thus having a strong demand for economic, reliable, and stable electricity.
In response to these needs, Yotai and Hangda ESS jointly crafted a commercial and industrial energy storage solution for the client. The solution includes three sets of Yotai's 215kWh Smart Distributed ESS, each connected to different transformers' low-voltage sides. The EMS main control module of the ESS can collect real-time load data from transformers and intelligently adjust the distribution of stored energy based on the load conditions of the transformers.
The successful implementation of this solution has enhanced the client's power supply flexibility and optimized the quality of electric energy, effectively solving the issue of high electricity costs. By adopting a charge and discharge strategy of "two charges, two discharges," the park has achieved a daily peak-shifting electricity volume of 1290kWh since the operation of the ESS. This strategy, along with demand management that eliminates peak loads and smooths the electricity curve, reduces demand charges and saves the park over 200,000 yuan in electricity costs annually. Moreover, Yotai's ESS can also serve as a backup power source, ensuring the normal continuation of production in the park during power rationing or outages, minimizing economic losses due to power failures, and providing demand response services to the grid, receiving economic compensation and creating new revenue streams for the park.
Looking ahead, Yotai will always adhere to the development philosophy of "market-oriented + technology-driven," center around customer needs, continuously refine core technologies, and persistently provide excellent new energy products and solutions, aiding in the comprehensive upgrade of the new energy system.
