On November 19, 2024, Yotai and Tianneng Holding Group officially commenced their comprehensive cooperation in the field of energy storage with a strategic partnership signing ceremony held at Yotai's headquarters.
The event was attended and witnessed by leaders including Tianneng Holding Group's Vice Chairman Zhou Jianzhong, Tianneng Holding Group's Party Committee Member and General Manager of the Strategic Cooperation Department Yao Jie, Yotai CEO Chen Shuo, and Jiangsu Taihang General Manager Shuai Jianhua.
Tianneng Holding Group is ranked among the top 500 global new energy enterprises, top 500 Chinese enterprises, and top 10 leading enterprises in China's strategic emerging industries. It is listed in both Hong Kong and Shanghai, and is the industry's first company to possess both "A" and "H" dual listings.
The strategic partnership between Yotai and Tianneng is based on the principles of "leveraging strengths, integrating resources, mutual trust, and industrial development." It will capitalize on Tianneng's supply advantages in key components and equipment for electrochemical energy storage, as well as Yotai's strengths in new energy resource development, project planning, and scenario implementation. The collaboration will encompass a comprehensive range of activities, including new energy project development and advanced energy storage technology innovation, aiming to accelerate the growth of the energy storage industry, with a particular focus on long-duration energy storage.
During the signing ceremony, Yotai CEO Chen Shuo detailed the company's latest progress in "ESS + X" full-scenario solutions, highlighting breakthroughs in large cell energy storage systems, 1P high-power ESS, and PV&ESS&EV Charging integration. Chen Shuo stated that Tianneng's profound accumulation in energy storage cells will complement Yotai's advantages across scenarios such as source-grid side, C&I, green transportation, and residential green energy, and that through in-depth cooperation, the two parties will jointly promote rapid development in the energy storage industry. Tianneng Vice Chairman Zhou Jianzhong highly praised Yotai's leading strength in the energy storage field and its "ESS + X" strategy. Zhou Jianzhong noted that Tianneng Group has established eighteen production bases across eight provinces in China, employing nearly 30,000 workers, and possesses strong local and rapid delivery capabilities. Starting from power batteries, Tianneng has now established a strong competitive advantage in various energy storage cell technologies, including lead-acid, lithium, and sodium batteries, providing solid support for cooperation in energy storage projects.
The signing of this strategic cooperation is not only an important step for Yotai and Tianneng to achieve their own development goals but also a positive response to the country's "3060" carbon peak and carbon neutrality vision. In the future, the two parties will continue to deepen their cooperation, contribute to the construction of new energy infrastructure in China and globally, and jointly promote innovation and development in the energy storage industry.
