Recently, the first near-zero carbon government project in Yantian District, Shenzhen, successfully went into operation. This project was jointly developed by Yotai and Shen Shi Zero Carbon Technology at the Yantian District Administrative and Cultural Center, marking a further expansion of Yotai's "Energy Storage + X" strategy into the government sector, empowering social public management institutions.
The Shenzhen Yantian Administrative and Cultural Center, located in the beautiful Shatoujiao Town, is the political and cultural center of the newly established Yantian District in Shenzhen, with a total construction area of 80,000 square meters and a square area of about 30,000 square meters. As a major government agency in Yantian District, it has a large carbon emission total and a strong radiating influence, making it an important field for energy conservation and carbon reduction, as well as a pioneering demonstration unit for achieving zero carbon emissions. Comprehensive deepening of the near-zero carbon demonstration zone construction is currently a key focus of the Yantian District government.
Based on these considerations, Yotai has tailored a near-zero carbon solution for the agency, led by distributed PV, advanced ESS equipment, V2G, and supercharging technology, supported by Yotai's Integrated Energy Cloud Platform. The solution employs Yotai's independently developed Smart232L liquid-cooling C&I ESS, which is connected to the transformer at a low voltage of 0.4kV, equipped with an smart liquid-cooling temperature control system. The temperature difference between cells inside the PACK is less than 2.5°C, ensuring consistent battery temperature control. This precise temperature management not only increases battery life by 15% but also reduces energy consumption by 20%, demonstrating Yotai's innovation and efficiency optimization in energy storage technology.
In addition, the system implements the highest international standards for safe energy storage. After commissioning, it operates in a "two charge and two discharge" mode to achieve "peak-shaving," with an estimated annual energy storage charging volume of over 724MWh and an annual energy storage discharge volume of over 610MWh, resulting in annual electricity revenue of over 337,000 yuan. Moreover, Yotai's liquid-cooling C&I ESS can serve as a backup power source. In the event of power rationing or outages, it can not only ensure the normal operation of the administrative center, reducing social impacts caused by power outages, but also engage in green electricity trading, using green electricity increments to offset carbon emissions, enhancing the green and low-carbon ecologicalization of the agency compound. After commissioning, the administrative center will become a domestic demonstration site with the most complete elements and the most advanced technology for near-zero carbon units.
In recent years, the Yantian District Committee and Government have always adhered to green development, incorporating carbon peak and carbon neutrality into the overall layout of ecological civilization construction. The "near-zero carbon" agency project at the Administrative and Cultural Center is an important part of Yantian District's ecological civilization construction. It not only promotes substantial progress in energy conservation, emission reduction, and green transformation in Yantian District but also provides strong support and demonstration for Shenzhen to further build a near-zero carbon transportation demonstration city, contributing Shenzhen's wisdom to the national green and low-carbon transformation.
The successful operation of the Administrative and Cultural Center's "near-zero carbon" agency project not only marks a milestone breakthrough for Yotai in the construction of near-zero carbon units but also demonstrates its innovative strength in the deep integration of PV&ESS&EV charging technology with government agencies, providing a replicable and promotable demonstration plan for near-zero carbon projects in Shenzhen and across the country.
