Recently, Yotai successfully completed Fankou lead-zinc mine energy storage power station project which is a typical user-side energy storage application scenario in the mining area. Fankou lead-zinc Mine provides the site for the construction of a 1MW/2MWh and a 2MW/4MWh ESS with a total installed capacity of 3MW/6MWh, container-type energy storage configuration, and 6kV grid-connected voltage level. Upon completion, it can save mine electricity fees and realize peak valley arbitrage.
Fankou lead-zinc mine is located in Renhua County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, on the north edge of Dongtang Basin, 48km to Shaoguan City in the southwest, and 26km to Danxia Mountain, the world Geopark. National Highway 106 passes in the south of the mine, highway in the mine is connected to provincial highway 246, railway in the mine is connected to Beijing-Guangzhou Line, and the transportation is convenient.
In order to ensure the optimal return of the project, the construction scale of the energy storage power station has the best return according to the 2-hour system investment. The energy storage power station is charged to 100%SOC state at night, and the peak period and peak top period are completely released. The income is the difference of electricity price of peak shaving and valley filling.
Moreover, the BESS is connected to the distribution gird of mining area, which can realize uninterrupted power supply in case of power failure of major grid.
