Recently, Yotai won the Xinjiang Urumqi Airport Reconstruction and Expansion Project. The Airport will give full play to the "east link west" "west to east" location advantage to expand domestic aviation demand as a strategic basis and promote the construction of passenger and cargo "dual hub" upon completion. Yotai Energy will provide Urumqi International Airport with complete sets of high and low voltage power distribution equipment.

With the goal of building a safe, green, smart and cultural airport, the reconstruction and expansion project of Urumqi Airport, which started in Oct 2019, will be of great significance to accelerating the construction of "One Port and Five Centers", promoting regional economic development, enhancing transportation accessibility, accelerating the development of tourism resources and fostering new economic growth points.

A total investment of more than 52 billion RMB is planned for the reconstruction and expansion of Urumqi Airport, including the construction of the second and third runways over 3,000 meters in length, as well as the 500,000-square-meter North District Terminal (T4 terminal) and the 345,000-square-meter transportation center. After completed the flight area of the Airport will reach the highest grade of 4F, which can take off and land Airbus A380 aircraft, and meet the annual passenger throughput of 63 million people and cargo throughput of 750,000 tons. Among them, T4 terminal project is the largest single building construction project in Xinjiang.
